I am on Tik Tok

I don’t do much on TikTok, but I posted a video of my tanka there a while ago, and it was well received in the seven days they let you see your statistics. Most people view a post for only a few seconds. They say our attention spans have decreased because of all the fast-paced media. I am unsure what this means for our future. I wonder whether short poems like haiku could become popular. But most haiku take more than a few seconds to absorb.

If you cannot read it in a few seconds, I have pasted the text here.

we sit together
me and my old cat
at winter’s end
a shaft of sunlight finds us
through bare branches
